Hubbert Smith
CEO
A visionary with more than 30 years of high-tech experience in cloud/enterprise technology, program management, product management, and strategy, i4 Ops was founded by Hubbert. After recognizing a chasm in the tech marketplace, Hubbert conceived i4 Ops to offer the opportunity for companies to enhance their value through gaining unrecognized access to the world’s top data science talent while simultaneously maintaining trust that their data would be protected.
His direction for i4 Ops is, in part, fueled by expertise gained through having held leadership roles with companies such as Samsung, Intel, Western Digital and Netapp, and on behalf of customers and partners such as Delta Airlines, German Postal Service, Cloudera and Cisco.
Driven by voracious curiosity and a propensity for problem solving, Hubbert holds a notable portfolio of 12 patents related to the use, storage and security of data. Additionally, as an accomplished speaker and author, Hubbert has contributed significantly to the discourse on remote work with the publication of “Inspiring Remote Tech Teams.” This insightful work delves into the intricacies of managing remote teams prompted by the era of COVID-19, exploring aspects of team innovation and team neuroscience.
